1980 Films began in 2018 as a creative outlet for our founder, Jamin Mears, who was then working as a video producer at a SaaS company. Seeking opportunities to explore more cinematic storytelling, Jamin started producing music videos for local bands.
What started as a passion project quickly grew into a dynamic video production company, bringing creativity and authenticity to every project. Today, 1980 Films crafts compelling content for a diverse range of clients, from startups to established brands, all while staying true to our cinematic roots.
